STUDY PROGRAM VISION

Excellent and prominent in the development of Biology Education science based on local potential, integrated with Islamic values, technology-adaptive, and globally reputed by 2034. 

STUDY PROGRAM MISSION

  1. To administer student-centered education and instruction in the field of biology education through active, effective, and innovative learning, while optimizing the utilization of technology.

  2. To develop research in the field of biology education that integrates Islamic values by leveraging local potential and optimizing technology to contribute to the advancement of science, the quality enhancement of biology education, and public welfare.

  3. To conduct community service in the field of biology education based on research findings and local potential-based biology learning development, integrated with Islamic values and technological optimization.

  4. To establish academic collaborations and development with community institutions, organizations, and the industrial sector, both nationally and internationally, that are relevant to the Biology Education Study Program.

PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEO)

  1. To produce prospective educators in the field of Biology Education who possess mastery over biological sciences, instruction, and its development based on local potential, grounded in Islamic values and technological optimization.

  2. To produce Biology Education researchers who embody faith and noble character, possess social and managerial skills, exhibit an entrepreneurial spirit, and demonstrate a strong sense of social and community responsibility.

  3. To produce institutional administrators in the field of Biology Education capable of applying theories and practices based on local potential, grounded in Islamic values and technological optimization.

  4. To produce edupreneurs in the field of Biology Education capable of applying theories and practices based on local potential, grounded in Islamic values and technological optimization.

STUDY PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

  1. Biology Education students can complete their study period within 8 semesters (4 years).

  2. Biology Education students maintain a minimum GPA of 3.25.

  3. Biology Education students achieve a minimum of 70% of the Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs).

  4. Students undertake courses that are integrated with Islamic values.

  5. Students are capable of producing a final undergraduate thesis that integrates Islamic values, is based on local potential, and is strengthened by technology.

These core values are implemented to realize the vision, mission, and Program Educational Objectives (PEOs), aligned with the core values of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, namely:
