The Field Experience Program (PLP) is a course designed to provide students with practical experience and an introduction to the educational field within school and madrasah environments. PLP was established based on the recognition that practical knowledge and experience in education cannot be acquired solely through classroom learning at the university. As prospective graduates and future education professionals, students are encouraged to participate in educational development by going beyond the classroom and library to apply the theories they have learned and engage directly in real-world educational settings. Through PLP, students are expected to develop a range of competencies simultaneously, including social competence, personal competence, pedagogical competence, and professional competence. The PLP program at the Faculty of Education and Teacher Training (FITK), UIN Sunan Kalijaga, is implemented in partner schools and madrasahs. The program involves students in the Educational Field Experience at FITK UIN Sunan Kalijaga's partner schools and madrasahs, including a minimum of four teaching practices and activities designed to familiarize students with the school environment and its educational practices.

Objectives of the PLP

1. To provide students with factual and practical experience in the field of education at partner institutions.

2. To provide students with opportunities to become familiar with, study, and gain an in-depth understanding of issues and challenges in schools and madrasahs.

3. To develop students' ability to apply the knowledge and skills they have acquired through interdisciplinary learning to real-life situations within educational and school environments.

4. To contribute to the development of schools and madrasahs by fostering innovation and creativity based on their existing potential.

5. To strengthen partnerships between the Faculty of Education and Teacher Training (FITK), UIN Sunan Kalijaga, and its partner institutions
