Semua Bisa Mengajar: Simple Science Experiments and Creativity with Children Yogyakarta
As a tangible manifestation of concern for education and an effort to introduce science from an early age, the Biology Education Study Program successfully organized the "Semua Bisa Mengajar" (Everyone Can Teach) activity. This program was designed to provide an interactive and enjoyable learning experience for children through various educational activities over two days. On the first day, the activities focused on introducing the concepts of acids and bases through simple experiments, where children were invited to observe color changes using natural indicators, making science learning feel like magic. The activities continued on the second day with learning about the growth of sprouts planted using cotton media, combined with an art activity of coloring apple pictures using cotton to train their fine motor skills and creativity.
Through this activity, Biology Education students not only shared their knowledge but also learned how to convey complex scientific concepts into material that is easy to understand and fun for children. With the completion of the "Semua Bisa Mengajar" activity, it is hoped that it will foster children's curiosity and love for science, while strengthening the creative teaching spirit within each student.
