Jumat Berkah: A Real Action of Social Care by Sharing Food with the Community

Yogyakarta - As a manifestation of social care values and community service, the Biology Education Study Program successfully organized the Jumat Berkah (Blessed Friday) activity. This event focused on distributing food to people in need along the main streets.

The activity was carried out by students who went directly to the streets to distribute meals to informal workers, road users, and underprivileged members of the community. This action aimed to foster a sense of empathy, social sensitivity, and the spirit of sharing among the academic community.

Through the Jumat Berkah activity, the Biology Education Study Program not only focuses on academic achievements but also on building the character of students who are caring and sensitive to the social conditions of their surrounding environment. This activity also serves as a means to connect with and provide direct benefits to the wider community.

With the completion of this activity, it is hoped that it can bring a little happiness to the recipients and serve as an inspiration to consistently carry out acts of kindness and other social activities in the future.
