Social Care Action Movement (GAPS): Spreading Care with Panti 3 Yayasan Sayap Ibu Yogyakarta
Yogyakarta – As a tangible manifestation of concern for others and the implementation of humanitarian values, the Biology Education Study Program successfully organized the Social Care Action Movement (GAPS). This activity focused on fundraising and distributing donations to the children at Panti 3 Yayasan Sayap Ibu, Yogyakarta Branch.
This activity involved the active participation of students and the academic community, who worked together to collect donations in the form of funds, groceries, and other basic necessities. The distribution of this aid aimed to ease the burden and provide moral support to the children under the care of Yayasan Sayap Ibu.
Through GAPS, students are not only encouraged to be sensitive to the social conditions around them but also to learn the importance of sharing and gratitude. This visit to the orphanage also served as a valuable moment to interact, play, and bring a little happiness to the children.
With the completion of this Social Care Action Movement, it is hoped that it will provide meaningful benefits to Yayasan Sayap Ibu and foster a strong, sustainable social spirit within every Biology Education student.
