Yogyakarta - In order to improve academic quality and research integrity, the Biology Education Study Program successfully organized a Journal Review activity. This event was specifically focused on studying and deepening the understanding of publication ethics in scientific journal writing.
The activity was attended by students and lecturers who were enthusiastic about understanding the ethical standards applicable in the world of publication. The discussion covered various important topics, such as plagiarism prevention, honesty in data presentation, copyright, and a researcher's moral responsibility toward their published work.
Through this journal review, participants were invited to realize that a scientific work is evaluated not only by its findings but also by the process and integrity that accompany it. This understanding is crucial for students who are currently preparing or will be preparing their final projects or scientific publications.
With the completion of this activity, it is hoped that it will produce academics and researchers who are not only competent but also uphold the values of honesty and ethics in every scientific work they produce.
