Sukabumi - In order to broaden their insights into the application of biological sciences in the industrial world, students of the Biology Education Study Program Class of 22 successfully organized an Industrial Visit to two leading factories: PT Yakult Indonesia Persada and PT Amerta Indah Otsuka (Pocari Sweat).
This activity was designed to provide students with a firsthand understanding of large-scale production processes, quality control, and the application of biotechnology, particularly the utilization of good bacteria in Yakult products. Students had the opportunity to directly observe the modern technology used, from raw material processing to hygienic product packaging.
Through this visit, students not only learned about the scientific and technological aspects but also gained a real-world perspective on industrial management, food safety standards, and career prospects for biology graduates in the industrial sector.
With the completion of this Industrial Visit, it is hoped that the Class of 22 students will have a broader view of the professional world and be motivated to apply the knowledge they have learned for future innovations.
