Yogyakarta – As a form of social responsibility and the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, the academic community of the Biology Education Program at UIN Sunan Kalijaga organized a Community Service activity. This program focused on education and raising awareness about the environment.

Through this activity, a team of lecturers and students provided outreach and mentoring to the community regarding the importance of preserving nature, waste management, and the sustainable use of biological resources. The program was designed interactively to foster collective awareness and equip the community with practical, eco-friendly skills.

The activity received a warm welcome from the local residents, who actively participated in every session. The Biology Education Program at UIN Sunan Kalijaga hopes that this initiative will provide a long-term positive impact on environmental sustainability and community welfare.
